Certified by the NRA, USCCA, and the Colorado Boulder County Sheriffs’ office. Donny has trained hundreds of students—from brand-new shooters to seasoned concealed carriers—helping them become safer, smarter, and more confident.

Donny’s journey with firearms started at just five years old on his family’s private shooting range. That early hands-on experience laid the foundation for a lifelong commitment to responsible gun ownership and professional instruction.

- USCCA Certified Instructor – Concealed Carry & Home Defense Fundamentals

In addition to being a certified instructor, Donny served as an account representative for both USCCA and Firearms Legal Protection—two of the nation’s leading self-defense legal programs. He taught classes during this time, giving him unique insight into both the practical and legal sides of carrying a firearm.
He also previously held a Federal Firearms License (FFL), which gave him firsthand experience in firearm sales, transfers, and compliance. That knowledge now helps his students better understand Colorado firearm laws and private transfer procedures.

Donny is also a local competitive shooter, regularly participating in matches in the area. He trains what he teaches and believes that continuing to challenge yourself under pressure makes you a better instructor—and a better armed citizen.

Donny’s passion lies in working with first-time and beginner shooters, building confidence and safety habits from the ground up. His classes cover everything from proper grip and stance to concealed carry strategy and real-world defensive tactics.
Crucially, Donny also prepares his students for the legal aftermath of a defensive shooting—explaining what to say, what not to say, and how to protect their rights, freedom, and finances in the aftermath of a life-threatening incident.
